ABOUT

Juliana Profaci is a Speech-Language Pathologist at New York Neurogenic Speech-Language Pathology, P.C. Ms. Profaci received her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Long Island University – Brooklyn, and Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences from The State University of New York at Cortland. Additionally, Ms. Profaci also holds certification as a Teacher of Students with Speech-Language Disabilities (TSSLD) and is Level 1 PROMPT trained.

Ms. Profaci has facilitated individualized treatment to pediatric and adult clients in a variety of areas including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, articulation and phonological disorders, expressive, receptive, and pragmatic language disorders, fluency disorders, Aphasia and cognitive-linguistic deficits. She has also administered comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and screenings across various populations. Ms Profaci has experience treating clients in outpatient centers, sensory gyms, schools, private practices, and home care.

Furthermore, Miss Profaci was the Vice President for the National Student Speech-Language and Hearing Association (NSSHLA) at Long Island University and has executed numerous fundraising events. In the recent past, Ms. Profaci assisted in organizing meetings with legislators at Capitol Hill to promote ASHA’s public policies regarding Early Hearing Detection and
Intervention, Full Funding for IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) and Enhance Medicare access to Audiology services.
